in this work i wanted to create an interface which goes beyond traditional interfaces such as the mouse or keyboard. i used the familar page turn interface of a book. with the use of a video projector, individual webcam streams were projected onto the pages of the book. as the user turned each page a toggle switch loaded a new webcam page and projected it onto the current page. in other words, each page had a particular webcam link associated with it. so in a sense, a type of world book could be viewed. |
