typing_klicking_touching through metaphors |
| this
project plays with language, which is shifted to a virtual space.
it uses visual metaphors to make the unvisible visible. the structure and navigation of this project is not always logical to reconstruct. the user must more or less experience it in a blind fashion. the surface reacts to the mouse movement of the user and requests he/she to follow their intuitive reflexes. the abstract form of the pages leads to an associative, playful and perceptive form. |

| //menu due to the fact that our society constantly develops new discoveries, inventions and technical gadgets, new names are continually needed. however, instead of a real neologism and/or new word combinations such as "internet", "CD-Rom", etc. for the most part we shift existing words from an exiting context to the digital context .e.g. restaurant menu to computer menu. daily words are used within the digital sphere that have been taken from real circumstances. this "menu" section of the "visualization of language" project visualizes this duality. |

back home home normally is associated with something permenant and fixed. however on the internet the word "home" has a more fluid definition. the "home" of a webpage can move and disapear from one day to the other. there are no ruins or traces left, all you might find is the message "file 404 not found". |
